Learn the Basics of Painting

At Martin Fine Art Classes Painting Camp, we teach our students the basics of painting. We offer personalized, one-on-one instructions for each of our students, teaching, illustrating and explaining how to:

• blend the paints to create transitions of value
• create reflection and contrast
• color tone the canvas with a ground color
• mix colors and create transitions of color

Martin Finer Art Classes Painting Camp

This camp is for current students who have yet to learn painting or for new students who participated in the creative sampler camp and want to learn the basics of painting.

On the first day, they will learn how to mix paints by completing a color wheel, and then they can pick out what they want to paint and start sketching it.

Our instructors will help them pick something they can most likely finish by the end of the camp. Then, our instructors will guide the rest of the camp in working on and hopefully completing the painting.
